AUDITIONS for “SQUABBLES” a.k.a. Your House or Mine

By Marshall Karp

This hilarious play pits in laws against each other in a comedic succession of squabbles. Jerry Sloan, a successful writer of advertising jingles, is married to Alice, a successful lawyer. Living with the happy couple is Alice’s not so happy father, Abe Dreyfus. Abe is a funny guy to the audience, not to Jerry. The situation is exacerbated when Jerry's mother, Mildred, loses her house in a fire and needs a place to stay. Abe and Mildred can't stand each other. This play is one hilarious confrontation after another.

Looking for new and exciting ways to become involved, meet new people, and make new friends?  Would you like to work on a project that’s fulfilling, fun and a gift to the CSL community and beyond?  Center Stage Productions is always looking for folks who’d like to get involved both on stage and off!  We especially need assistance with PR, box office, and graphics – from program to set construction, and all technical aspects from lights to sound to costumes.  Experience is a plus, but not necessary – we are a community-owned theater company and we’re learning together!  Contact any of the members of the Center Stage Productions Artistic Council (C-SPAC).

WISH LIST:
Did you know that Center Stage Productions has a wish list?  We are looking for:
TOOLS:
Circular saw, table saw, hammers, cordless drills, hand saw, wood screws and various hardware
LUMBER:
We need lots of lumber, from 2x4’s to ½” plywood sheets
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
OSH, Home Depot, any costume shop, fabric stores, Musson’s Theatrical in San Jose, Costco, Kinko’s or other printers

If you have something you think we could use, please email Linda Miyahira at heylindalightenup@yahoo.com, or leave a message for her at the Church office.  Please, do not just leave things at CSL, because if we can’t use them, then the staff is responsible for having to haul it away.  Thank you so much for your continued generosity and support!

If you are interested in acting or being part of Center Stage Productions please send us your information and let us know how you would like to be part of our CSP.
